Following the announcement of the WBS set of Process Minimilism training courses being accepted for CPD accreditation, we can now add our revised Problem Solving course which has also gained accreditation for CPD.

Think of the road network as a production line. Before you get into your car to go to work you are the equivalent of raw material. Once in your car and out on the road you have become WIP (work in progress). When you arrive at your place of work your status has changed to FG (finished goods). Once inside, depending on your job, status, mood, etc. you go to the customer adding value or you go to the FG warehouse collecting dust hoping for someone to buy you.

This operation was a blank canvas with hardly any existing measurements. Those that did exist were either not used at all or used ineffectively. Properly quantifying the benefits could therefore not be achieved until after implementation when systems and processes had imbedded.

We are coming to the end of another year, which we hope has been very successful for you and you company. Here at WBS, we have experienced a record year I’m pleased to report and thank you to all our great clients both old and new.

This assignment involved recruiting an interim Operations Manager and a team of supply chain specialists to assist with data analysis, strategy, process improvement and project management in both distribution and manufacturing.
