WBS initially performed a Company Assessment which analysed the methods the client employed to fulfill market demand and the suitability of existing facilities to meet future business demands.

WBS were asked to complete an independent initial review and evaluation of the top level targets and feedback the potential feasibility of the targeted case already outlined by the client.

The target of the exercise was to focus on the initial scale of the business case and identify any other savings beyond labour.

In order to gain a thorough understanding of the business issues, WBS Group performed an intense Company Assessment, focussing on all areas of the business that impacted on the ability of general assembly area to meet production demands. In effect this meant a complete supply chain review from forecast through to shipment of product.

WBS performed an Assessment focussing on the warehouse activities such as storage and replenishment, picking and packing of product. The existing layout, working practices, product flow and disciplines in the area were reviewed with a view to providing< recommendations to improve the productivity of the area.
