Oxfordshire based Cricket Evolution, a company set up to make cricket available for everyone all year round, has retained WBS Group to prepare and manage the project to build a 10-lane indoor cricket centre in Oxfordshire.
We are excited that we have been asked to provide support from beginning to end of this project. This is a different assignment to our typical distribution centre and factory optimisation projects and it is great that we can help promote a sport we are passionate about.
In collaboration with Cricket Evolution, we are currently creating the business case for the project. Work is also underway to find suitable land and secure funding. The purpose built centre will be the first of its kind and we aim to complete the building and open the doors in 2017.
The indoor cricket centre will cater for players of all ages and abilities and contribute significantly to the development of cricket talent.
